Central Indiana Teen Challenge has been in existence for over 30 years. Hundreds of girls have passed through our doors and found the love of Christ and freedom through forgiveness and grace. Our name used to be Indianapolis Teen Challenge. However, we have moved to Lebanon Indiana (15 miles form Indianapolis) and purchased an large assisted living nursing home. We are now able to triple the girls and have excellent office space, and educational wing and room for expansion. The staff of Teen Challenge daily disciple students during their 12 to 18 month stay. Through consistent Bible study, prayer and personal accountability, our students are encouraged to apply the truths of God's Word to their thoughts and actions in everyday life. Christ-centered counseling is at the heart of what we do. Our staff provide help to students through individual and group counseling. In addition, we also require the parents of the students to be involved in regular on-site family counseling. Education is an important part of our curriculum. We use the A.C.E. pace system and offer GED to girls who are 17 and have achieved a trust level status with us. We believe in rewarding good behavior and right decisions. There are four levels in our program. Each level has it’s own requirements and rewards. The last level allows our girls to hold a part time job while at the center. |
